Arthur Pollack

Art Pollack was born and spent his early childhood years in the Bronx. At the age of ten, his family moved to Miami Beach. For the next twelve years, Art enjoyed growing up in South Florida, graduating from the University of Miami with a degree in psychology.

Just ten days following his graduation, Art married the love of his life and relocated to her hometown in New Jersey. He began his business career in entrepreneur positions until 1965 when he started working on Wall Street for the securities firm of Paine Webber. He spent the next twelve years at Paine Webber while he and his wife raised two sons and a daughter.

The Pollack’s returned to South Florida, purchasing a home in Coral Springs in 1977. Art continued working with Paine Webber opening a branch office in Hallandale Beach. Over the next seven years, Art was promoted and relocated to the Fort Lauderdale office of Paine Webber.

Art remained in the securities business until early 2007, working with Prudential, Smith Barney and Morgan Stanley. In 2007, following 42-years in the securities business, Art started his new life. He decided to retreat to his passion of photography.

Today, Art and his wife remain in the same Coral Springs home they purchased in 1977. Art is active in the community. He is the former chair of distinguished organizations including Together Against Gangs in Boca Raton, the Professional Advisory Committee of the Boca Raton Community Hospital and the Trustees of the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce. He sits on the board of directors of Crime Stoppers of Broward County as well is an active member of the New River Business Exchange.

Today, Art is a proud grandparent to seven grandchildren. He has an emotional lust for photography. “It captures a moment you never get to see again,” he says. His expertise is in shooting sports action, candid's and local community events such as golf tournaments, charity walks and Chamber of Commerce events.
